Manganese is an indispensable raw material in the iron and steel industry and a very strong reducer. It can absorb all the oxygen from the molten steel, so that there is no iron oxide in the steel, and it becomes a non-porous ingot. Adding a small amount of manganese to steel can greatly increase the mechanical properties of steel, such as ductility, malleability, toughness and wear resistance.

CIBRA Group officially entered the field of manganese ore products in 2018. During this period, the Group was committed to discovering plans for manganese ore deposits in various states of Brazil and arranged for a professional exploration team to conduct detailed geological studies.

At present, the group has 14 manganese ore exploration and mining rights in various states of Brazil, of which the largest manganese ore project is located in Serra Do Navio in Amapa.

The Serra Do Navio plan is the primary investment target that CIBRA Group officially launched into the manganese ore industry in 2018. This plan was formerly known as ICOMI (full name), which mainly produced manganese ore for use in the production of weapons in the United States XX years ago, and left nearly 5 million tons of manganese tailings in the mine during the decades of production. After that, the original shareholders of ICOMI in Brasil left and handed over all the shares to local Brazilians for management. However, due to improper management, many environmental damages were caused, and the local municipal government and the Ministry of Justice detained 50% of the original manganese tailings.

In 2018, CIBRA Group decided to enter the Ministry of Justice to auction the rights to 50% of the manganese tailings withheld and successfully obtained the ownership of the tailings in 2019 (this case number: XXXXX).

Now the CIBRA Group has set up its Brazilian branch headquarters in Amapá, and is striving to develop this plan and is looking forward to working with the local municipal government to develop local mineral products business and to improve the employment opportunities of local residents and the development of the city.
